Disney Plus (Disney+) is aimed to be competing with Netflix where you'll be able to stream shows and movies. At the launch on the 12th of November in the US, it will have 300 movie titles which will grow to 500 in the first year. Moreover 7,500 episodes of TV shows. Disney has indicated the revive of nostalgic Fox franchises which will include Home Alone.
Overall, so far we have the information that Disney Plus will be streaming home for Disney's theatrical releases in 2019 and, starting with Captain Marvel. Avengers: Endgame will be available for streaming on 11th December. Disney Plus will be the main online source to watch the rest of Disney's slate including Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, The Lion King, Frozen 2, The Toy Story and many more. It will have other original series and movies as well. But the availability of other companies shows license agreements that are already registered with other streaming networks such as Netflix.
Disney has not been much specific but while Disney Plus app demo Two high-profile titles were seen which are Fox's Avatar (released 2009), Fox's most successful full movie of all time, and ABC's Once Upon a Time. It means there may be more shows and movies available on Disney Plus by Fox and ABC.

Launch Day Library:

Marvel movies that will be available on the launch day are:

·         Thor: The Dark World
·         Captain Marvel
Avengers: Endgame will be available about a month later in December. It will have all the Pixar movies except for newly released Toy Story 4, five months before Disney Plus goes live.

Pricing in contrast with Netflix:

In contrast with Netflix, Disney Plus will cost $7 a month with four simultaneous streams, 4K video quality, UHD and High Dynamic Range picture quality and, last but not the least seven(7) user profiles with zero the extra cost and you can set your profile avatar from your favorite Disney characters. Whereas the highest tier of Netflix cost $16 a month and give only four(4) simultaneous streams. That is more than double to that of Disney Plus.

Launch date:

The Disney Plus will be launched on the 12th of November it's going to be up for competing against the big well-grown giants such as Netflix, Amazon Prime. According to Disney Plus, their only aim is to provide a A single platform for streaming all of their family-friendly content.

Parental control / Kids Mode:

Disney Plus demo has shown a clear picture of how parental control will be. Disney Plus, the streaming service, will have a "Kids Mode" that will be for children of age 7 years old and younger. The mode will have a more graphical interface (Bigger icons, more colorful interface, more graphics) and fewer words.
At launch, Disney Plus made it clear that there won't be any PIN protection for switching between standard mode and Kids Mode but adding a PIN to it is already on Disney's roadmap.

Password sharing:

Disney said it will monitor the password-sharing and make sure it's not shared excessively. He said that they recognize that Disney Plus is for the entire family to use and should be usable for all the family members.
