Today I am going to discuss all you need to know about PayPal and its use related issues in the countries where PayPal is banned? This article answers the FAQs which are asked by people from countries where it is banned, so read it till the end.

PayPal:

Basically, PayPal is a payment gateway used in many countries to make payments online. It is an American company operating worldwide. The PayPal online payments have replaced traditional payment methods like a money order or check. The company works as a payment processor for e-commerce sites, auction sites, freelancing sites (Fiverr, Upwork, etc) and other commercial users. The service is available in more than 200 countries.
Some of the countries where PayPal is not available are Belarus, Iran, Iraq, Myanmar, Pakistan, Syria, North Korea, Afghanistan, Chile, Nigeria, Ukraine and many more.

How to create an account if you are living in a country from the above list?

Many people have used a trick to get a PayPal account for their use. YouTubers and many other websites are giving detailed information on the method I have written as an example, but now it's not possible to use this method anymore. For example, in Pakistan the most commonly used method is:
Step 1: Create a Payoneer Account.
Step 2: Now register to PayPal with some fake information such as Phone number and Address of the US. The US phone number is taken using different online services.
Step 3: Now you'll use Payoneer Account for verification purposes and you are good to go.
But now, on the day I'm writing this doesn't work, till step 3 everything is verified and you think "It's working and now it's time to use it".

Don't lose your money via PayPal fake account:

Once you have created a PayPal account by the above-mentioned method or any other similar method you'll most probably lose your money especially if your account is new. Previously this method worked but now it no longer works. PayPal as a complete institution became much smarter as time passed.

The moment you realize you lost your money:

Now, the moment you'll realize that all your efforts went in vain will be the moment you'll get the verification you have transferred money to PayPal account. At the time of sign-in when you'll be looking to withdraw sign-in will fail. It will ask for your Proof of Identity once the money is transferred. Now you are stuck, neither you will be able to transfer the money to any other account nor use it on any online platform.

Solution (Suggestion):

Now, this issue has no solution so I'm going to recommend some of the better options you can use:
1.       Ask a friend or family member to make a transaction for you who are living in a country where PayPal is allowed.
2.       Use alternative payment methods available for you such as Wire Transfer, Local Bank Transfer, Skrill, etc.
The best suggestion I want to give is that do not use any platform where you are must have PayPal otherwise, you won’t be able to withdraw them.

If you have faced any such experience do share in comments and share this piece of information with everyone.
