Pic Credits: Tech Geek Net Google today announced a timeline based on which Google Play
Music will shut down. You'll have to switch to YouTube music. Later in this month (August), the user will no longer be able to purchase (or preorder) music from Play Store. As its replacement, YouTube music will be used which means instead of buying music google wants us to use streaming service. In September the service will shut down beginning with South
Africa and New Zealand. Users of this region will no longer be able to use the Google
Play Music app next month. For other areas affect will be made in October and
YouTube music will be succeeding by December 2020. Moreover, Google Play Music subscribers can transfer all
their playlists, libraries, etc. to YouTube music and the data will not be
